I knew it was coming...it crossed my mind today that maybe it was tomorrow....maybe I needed to check the bottom of the blog home page and figure it out....and when I did I saw this
ohhhhhhhkay, not quite prepared like I was last year when I celebrated for a week with giveaways. I've been busy with family stuff, having an Olympics party, welcoming the Pirate home for a school break. This week I am volunteering at an art camp from 9-2 every day except one, trying to stay committed to a daily workout schedule, having a Pampered Chef party Tuesday night and taking a road trip to the beach with the Beast, SweetGirl and Pirate Thursday to look at wedding/reception venues with SweetGirl's mama! But, my dear blog readers....I am celebrating number
So we have to celebrate!!!!!
I'll start off by sharing that the significance of this picture
is that I once again can eat mammalian meat. Cheryl was the only one to guess correctly so I will be making sure she has prize in hand this week. The specialist had been 99% sure I had the rare alpha galactose allergy which would mean a lifetime without any mammalian meat. I grieved a bit for bacon but was just happy that we might have an answer and if it meant no more meat so be it. Unfortunately they have run the test twice and this is not my allergy. In fact I am know his "mystery woman" Sounds kinda romantic sexy but not so much. At this point the allergy will go unnamed. Next time it happens.....we'll see.
Okay on to the celebration....
on Wednesday ;)
Congratulations Beverly!
ReplyDeleteIt is also great news that you will be able to continue to have bacon in your life - but, wow, what a mystery you are!
Congratulations!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd here's hoping for a resolution of your mystery some time soon.

Congrats on the Blogversary.
ReplyDeleteI do hope that they get to the bottom of the allergy.
Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping they keep on testing - an answer would be good
Happy Blogversary and here's to many more!
ReplyDeleteIt's a bit 'we have good news, but we also have bad news' with the bacon business isn't it? Great that you don't have to cut that out of your diet but so frustrating that the mystery is not yet solved. Hope that the answer is out there somewhere and that they find it soon.
Happy Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteGlad you can have bacon again but bummer that they don't know what is wrong if it isn't meat. Hope they find an answer soon
Hoping you find out eventually ... and here's to many more lovely blog entries from you. :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Beverley! Hoping they get to the bottom of the allergic reactions soon

Happy Blogiversary - I'm so glad you don't have to give up meat, but wish you had an answer to the allery issues. Or just maybe, God will heal you & it won't happen again - that's my prayer for you today.
