a very photo heavy post but I promise there were lots more I wanted to share

We definitely enjoyed the few days at home with snow but
it's supposed to get up to 72 today

  2. I love how sparkly and pretty the ice looks on the trees. However, I know from experience that having an ice storm is NO fun. I am pleased you got to see some snow and wintry weather!

    1. Fortunately this was mostly snow but we have endured some really bad ice storms, predictions for those always make us nervous.

    1. :( you know I am a summer person but if it's going to be cold it might as well snow, I don't care for wet and rainy at all. You've had a lot of that this year, haven't you?!

    1. For the most part we get 0-3 a year and nothing very big and fortunately it melts fairly fast.

  8. These are such great photos, Beverly! It's fun to see the bird shots because I just came from my friend Audrey's blog where she shared some photos of similar birds!

I'm going to introduce you two. Beverly, this is Audrey... http://audreygoeslocal.blogspot.com/2014/02/the-new-feeder.html?showComment=1392931449354

  9. Love the bright birds against that crisp white snow. We've had none this year, just rain, rain and more rain, with a sprinkling of hail occasionally! Roll on summer!
