      Pay it forward 2011: I promise something handmade to the FIRST 5 people who leave a comment here. However, to be eligible, you must repost this status, offering something handmade to 5 other people. The rules are that it must be handmade (or homemade) by you and it must be sent to your 5 people sometime in 2011. Ready, set, GO!

     I posted this on Facebook last week and have only had three takers. I think it intimidates non crafty people, they don't jump in because they feel they have nothing to offer. Well, believe me I just as happily accept your homemade lasagna or pepper jelly made from your garden's bounty as cards or a scarf. So since I didn't have 5 takers, I will offer it up here to not just 2 more but up to 5 commenters. Same rules apply, you must offer it up on your blog! Ready, Set, GO!

    I took you up on it, and I am NOT crafty at all...as you know. However, I did have three takers and I'm almost finished with my first "gift." The way I felt about it was that if itch came to scratch I could make a "homemade" bookmark. As it is, I think it will be three scarves, but shhhhh! dont' tell! Thanks for the prompt! I love this idea!

    this is such a wonderful idea! It's been fun watching you posts it on facebook, who gets comments and who doesn't... unfortunately, I was one of the "no comment" receivers!

    *yes, you were Jane! I think scarves are freat especially since I don't knit! That's what I am receioving from the friend I commented on :) Your secret is safe with me!
