January 2013 in Numbers

traditional Southern New Year's Day meal

For the last year I have read friends’ monthly roundups of their months through numbers. Julie Kirk of notes on paper originated the idea. I have made a personal commitment  to participate this year, I think it will be a nice way to look through the year once 2013 draws to an end. So I begin

January 2013 in Numbers
    8 days of sickness
6 visits to the Special Sister
100 miles driven to transfer the nephewcat and niecedog from my parents back to
             my Baby Sister
    21 blog posts
    1 mammogram
2 dental visits (cleaning then filling)
    7 days teaching second graders
    14 packages mailed

  2. Hi Beverly and welcome aboard the number train! I love that you're already thinking ahead to how much fun it'll be to lok back on your year in numbers!

I hope you're fairing better after your sickness and 100 miles sounds like a great commitment to transfer those pets - I guess they're very much-loved.

I've added your debut post to the board with all the others now: http://pinterest.com/notesonpaper/my-month-in-numbers/

Thanks for linking back to me - wishing you a fun number-counting 2013.

    Happy February!

    Julie :-)

  3. An interesting mix of numbers there Beverly. I always enjoy these MIN posts and really should get round to joining in a bit more often.
Your New Year meal looks very different to the way we eat. Would you have some sort of gravy with that, or just eat it as it is?

  7. That is a lot of packages mailed! I don't think I mailed that many in all of 2012

  8. Hi Beverly! I'm participating this year with MIN too after being dismal at it last year. I liked the idea of starting fresh in January. I found it funny to see that you call the pets the nephew and niece pet! very cute :)

  9. LOL, was about to comment on the number of packages you mailed and I see Stacey already has. I hope you weren't too sick, you seem to have got a lot done regardless.
