Giveaway and Sharing

Commenting today is highly encouraged. It is Operation Speak Out Day plus I am giving some things away and will announce the winners in Mondays post. You have to leave a comment to be in the drawing. If I don't have a way to contact you and you win you'll need to contact me at neusebrats{at}aol{dot}com by Wednesday night. If I don't hear from the winner, I'll draw a new name Thursday morning.

Thought I'd share some cards and other creations with you today.

I am working on creating more boy oriented cards so made this series.

Robots

I love Stella and Gus stamps

My friend, Gloria used to always joke about burying bodies in her backyard so I always think of her when I use this stamp. Gloria is very talented and serves on a lot of design teams, you should check out her very popular blog, Scraps of Life

from cranky Stella to sweetness

this one reminds me that MJ and I have to try out the new coffee shop

I make Baby Sister's thank you cards each year for her to write the people that support her international mission trips. She is deaf and served the deaf in February thus the insert of a man signing "thank you".

One morning while everyone slept on vacation I sat on the porch and sketched this for the Chosen One.

and missing football season I have created a few things honoring my ECU Pirates

and I can only give you a sneak at this one since it's a gift. Come back Monday and I'll share the full picture.

What are your favorite ways of creating...scrapbooking?  nail art? cooking? sewing? gardening? Leave a comment, you can answer the question or say anything you'd like (within bounds of course) and you will be in the drawing for a prize. I'll be sharing the prizes and winners on Monday so be sure to check back. This post is in honor of Operation Speak Out so please leave comments on all the blogs you visit today and check out Abi's blog, OSO is her brainchild.

  1. I love to be crafty! I just wish I had the time to do more of it! That, and find a way to make a descent living at it! :-) The robot series is adorable!!! Of course, as you know, I'm in to all things boy now!

  2. I seem to spend a disproportionate amount of time admiring other people's crafty things compared to actually doing something myself! My most creative times are either at an all day crop - where normal life cannot intrude! or if I sign up for an online class and someone is literally prompting me with what to do.
It wasn't until I read your post that I realised that cooking is a kind of craft too, so I guess that is one of my favourites.

  4. I love all kinds of crafting - though making things will always trump cooking things for me lol

It looks to me like you are adept at turning your hand to all kinds of things. That's a great way to be!

  6. Hello, my sister-friend. Great projects today. Thanks for the shout out, and I roared when I saw the lady with a shovel stamp! I have stopped whacking people with the shovel...my backyard is very small here in California! hee hee

  7. I think of myself as a good commenter, in general, but I am leaving A LOT more comments today! LOL! I create in all different sorts of ways - but definitely don't sew.
