Simply a Moment

I'm actually enjoying shoveling the snow from the sidewalk. Ha, that might be considered odd! But, the snow is light and evidently perfect for shoveling so it's not backbreaking work. I'm not getting winded and my back isn't hurting so evidently the lifestyle change is a bonus when it comes to this. The thing that really seems odd is that I am doing this while the Chosen One is doing this....

(I know ya'll are shocked, you can admit it!! I am shoveling while he is making a snowman!)

Yes, I asked you to make a Pirate Snowman,  I am not going to have to look at one decked out for NC State across the street and not make our statement! Glad he's a Pirate Snowfan and not a SnowPirate, he's much too sweet and happy looking. hmmmm maybe I will keep the sword and eyepatch in an easier to reach location for next year :P  arghhh

Simply a Moment is a monthly meme I participate in that Alexa over at Trimming the Sails hosts. Click over to read her moment and to find links to other moments around the world.

  8. What a great moment. After living in NC for a couple of years I like the pirate idea, although I never had a particular allegiance to any of the colleges- So GO PIRATES! :)

  9. How brilliant is this! And many congratulations on the snow shovelling, which can be quite hard work, and glad you have been reaping the benefits of those lifestyle changes. A lovely moment, the uniqueness of which means it won't come along often! And thank you so much for joining in and taking part - always great to see you in the Linky :).

    1. We did, Melissa :) I love snow days because they shut Southern cities down and the world is put on hold while we play and focus on each other.
