Simply a Moment

hmmm how is it that I don't have 2 of the specific colors I need/want to use. Well, this is not an out & about day so I won't be headed to Jerry's to buy them. I have plenty to get accomplished at home. If I head to Jerry's, I'll be compelled to go in Hancock's to look at fabric...thanks to all those quilt fairies in my life.  After that it would make sense to run in Trader Joe's...what?! it's in the same strip mall and I am out of almost every kind of nut I keep on hand plus I need a yummy cheese and I could pick up the Chosen One a funky beer, ohhhh my flowers have faded so I'd need to pick up a fresh bouquet...because they are beautiful and reasonable. But, I really need to get a lot of images colored to make Valentines...time is of the essence...and I am still in my pajamas.

  1. Isn't it funny how so many thoughts pop into your head, once you try to settle on something else!

  2. What a fun post! Hope you found other colors to work with your project . . . so you wouldn't have to get out of your PJs, of course.

  3. I totally, totally know that feeling Bev. A mound of things to do and one thought leading to another. Beautifully captured!

    1. Thanks, Abi! We could get so much accomplished without those distracting thoughts....that occasionally lead us to action.

    1. Thank you, Jacky, I hate when it happens and I really am trying to be focused and well intentioned.

  5. I have the same problem. I quest in my house for one small thing turns into a day long trip into town doing "well as long as I am here" things.

  6. I love the looks of all that fabric! And I'm the same way - a ton of fabrics but missing the two I need right now. Lol.

  7. I hope the project turned out really well.
My problem is the dreaded 'safe place'. As soon as I've bought replacements for missing articles, I find the original ones in a special 'safe place' where I've put them for safe keeping. aagggh!
