Crafting at Church

On Wednesday nights I get to spend an hour with my church girls and craft. I love the mix of ladies we have ranging in age for late twenties to eighties. Over the fall "semester" we made Card for Troops, tile coasters, poetry scarves and 100 bookmarks for our International ministry. Last week we had our brainstorming session and have most of the "spring semester" planned out. I am really excited because many of the projects will be led by others and I get to learn new things. This week was unplanned so I had to find something quick and easy. I found a cute idea but now I can't find the source..it wasn't Pinterest :(  I think I'll create a tutorial next week but for now here's what I made.

You can wear these as pins or they can be magnets. The snowgirl must have brought us luck, we got a touch of snow last night!

Congrats to Jo C, she’ll be receiving the copy of the Artist Unique. I enjoyed it enough to order my own copy.

I do hope you will stop by tomorrow, I’ll be sharing something very dear to my heart and would love ya’lls support. Hope your weekend gets off to a glorious start!

  4. These are cute. Way back when I was a new mom, we had a "craft for service" group at my church. Everything we crafted was donated in some fashion. Such a blessing. I wish I was part of your group now! Hugs.

    1. Thanks, G! Our group is a total hoot... lovely and fun bunch of women. Some things we make to donate, some things for ourselves like jewelry and poetry scarves :)
