I really do create sometimes ;)

I know I am overwhelming ya'll with an abundance of images this week. So many more on Wordless Wednesday than usual and now another image heavy post on Friday...and gosh tomorrow is Sharing on Saturday so you know there will be images albeit with links to very cool things but images nonetheless.  I have many words for you too but they will need to wait til next week. I have been busy creating this week. I have made a lot of cards and I am being considerate and not showing them all at one time!  I have 4 breast cancer awareness cards to show you and then a general mix later next week. I also made 13, yes count'em thirteen! mini scrapbooks this week! It was a custom order for the kids camp at the Southern Baptist Conference for the Deaf that takes place this coming week in Missouri. Now most of us have had enough personal experiences with registrations and RSVPs to know that everyone isn't punctual @@  Is this just a Southern thing, an American thing or do ya'lll experience it in other countries? Drives me batty!  Anyway there is a good possibility when everyone signs in on Saturday afternoon they might find quite a few additional campers enrolled, so I am on standby. I have all the materials ready and can make the scrapbooks and send them out priority or one day if necessary on Sunday.  This is income so I am more than happy to do last minute work, I tend to be a last minute kind of person anyway :/  So I have been busy creating and very happy, here are some of the results.....

I should be getting results back from another allergy blood test today, highly expect the results to be the same. I am pretty confident I will still be the doctor's "mystery woman" after the phone call. There will be one more possible avenue to pursue then I may have to dig some while I live with it.  Thanks so much for ya'lls concern and prayers over the last  2.5 months.  It has meant a great deal.

Next week promises to be glorious....
I am going to paint a new picture!
I plan to do a few flat canvases and exercise journals for etsy!
I am going to Pass the Book and this one is so good I am going to buy a copy to keep!
I am going to introduce you to the author I had the delight of meeting tonight!
I get to wish my Mama a happy 81st birthday on Sunday!

Whew, did I say I wasn't going to give you many words today?  ummm liar!

Remember each day is a glorious gift...what will you do with yours today?!

  1. Wow Beverly....you have been amazingly busy....and more 'busyness' to come from the sound of it.
Love the 'leaping for joy' birthday card in particular....that looks like a Mo Manning image to me.
I'm with you on the punctuality!!

  3. What cute cards! Punctuality or RSVPs are a rare thing around here for some reason. And if you do get an RSVP it just means someone will show up, possibly with 5 members of their extended family whom they failed to mention.

    1. ohhhwow, Stacey! lol I might better be happy with the standard around here. I can be gracious about an occasional tag along or two but I don't know that my grace would hold up with that 0.O

  5. It's good to see all your creatvity - it's so inspiring!

Round here, city people are punctual and country people not so much - when my Mum moved from the city to the country she used to talk about it and she would use use your very phrase. It drove her batty! So some things are the same the world over

    1. aw thanks, Sian! Doesn't seem to make much difference city or country around here. Once I had a relative tell my Daddy that they'd be there unless something else came up (as in better), needless to say Daddy doesn't care if that one is invited to anything any more. And this is a fully grown man not a teenager @@ Love that your mom and I can both be driven batty, I'm in good company, I am sure!

  8. I find that extended family are hopeless with an RSVP - it would seem that if you are related they don't bother as they assume you know that they will be there!
