Pass the Book

Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close
Nine-year-old Oskar Schell has embarked on an urgent, secret mission that will take him through the five boroughs of New York. His goal is to find the lock that matches a mysterious key that belonged to his father, who died in the World Trade Center on the morning of September 11. This seemingly impossible task will bring Oskar into contact with survivors of all sorts on an exhilarating, affecting, often hilarious, and ultimately healing journey. Barnes & Noble

I think this is a book you really lose yourself in or a book you wish you could lose : /  That sounds bad but I know quite a few people that really loved the book yet I had to force myself to read it. Generally when I am reading a book I don't do anything else until I finish it but I found myself putting this one down for weeks at a time. That does not mean you shouldn't put your name in the drawing!!! Like I said many, many people have read and enjoyed EL&IC and reviewed it positively. I won the book when Alison did a Pass the Book drawing so am happy to pass it along to another reader. Since it wasn't a part of the official Pass the Book it can go to anyone regardless of whether you have a blog or not. I do ask that when you have finished it you pass the book onto another reader or organization. I'll have random.org choose the winner on Wednesday. Leave a comment if you'd like to be included, if you want to leave a comment but not be in the drawing just mention that within the comment :)  If you comment as anonymous (which is fine) BE SURE to leave your name) I'll be passing another book from the Pass the Book Year 2 group towards the weekend (and it's a book I highly recommend)

Seems the book was destined to go down under with the two in the drawing. Amy, I'll have it out to you this week :)
