I'll take a Small Frye any day!

These are the Fryes, a dear, sweet young couple that the Chosen One and I are very fond of, see the little bundle, well, that is Small Frye. He was dubbed Small Frye while in utero, since his arrival he is called by other names..Little Man, Little D and even his given name! To me he is Small Frye, they will have to come up with some other cute name for the next child.

The Chosen One and I had the honor of babysitting for Small Frye recently and mom gave me permission to bring the camera and blog about our night. When I arrived at 5:30 Small Frye was sound asleep in his car seat :/ so the Banker aka Dad educated me on caring for a little one and where everything was. Mom stayed downtown since she works there and their event was near her. After giving dad a hug and shooing him out the door, I settled in and waited....and waited....and waited.....

Finally at 6:00 I could wait no more and really Mom's notes said it was okay to be 10-15 minutes off schedule not half an hour. I gently woke him and got a big smile  :)

Now to get with the program we needed to have some exercise/play time.

Soon the Chosen One arrived and while I fixed a scrumptious dinner of rice cereal, the two guys bonded. The Chosen One had self anointed himself the Baby Whisperer @@ to Mom and Dad so he had a lot to live up to that night.

Obviously these two boys felt comfortable with each other.
There did seem to be an issue with that horrid bib. The Chosen One was adamant that Small Frye wanted nothing to do with it.  It bears the name of an institution of higher learning that we are not fond of  at all.

Meanwhile Mom and Dad were having fun at the ballet.

After dinner, it was bath time (not that Small Frye was dirty, he is an excellent cereal eater!) It didn't take long for me to figure out I wouldn't be the one doing the bathing. There was no way my knees were going to let me stand on them while leaning into the tub. Chosen One to the rescue!

Small Frye rarely gets to model his bathrobe so we made sure he had it on for a few minutes.

The last part of the night was giving him the bottle and burping him....the boy can burp!!

A few kisses and in no time Small Frye was sound asleep.
A glorious night...no crying, no screaming, no gas, no poop, no spitting food out or upchucking the bottle. Smiles and coos and sweetness and love ..... don't worry Small Frye the Chosen One and I have big plans for our next date night with you!  Since that night began a steady stream of sleeping through the nights I do believe we will be welcomed back.
Love you Small Frye and you, too Courtney and Phillip.
