It's taken me awhile but I am ready to Pass the Book, One Day by David Nicholls onto another blog posting reader. I let the Sweet One read it first and she knocked it out in 2 days, it has taken me weeks :( I have been able to put it down and come back to it, sometimes only reading a chapter before putting it down for a few more days. I think it's more the way the book is set up than a lack of pulling me into the story. I enjoyed watching these two friends become closer, drift apart, lead totally opposite lives and always through it all their friendship and connection remained in their hearts. I haven't seen the movie yet but hope to pick it up at Redbox in the next few weeks. If you would like to read One Day please leave a comment on this post. I'll be drawing a name on November 10th (Thurs) and then sending it on its way. The only requirement is that you have a blog yourself so that you are able to Pass the Book when you are finished. For more details on the Pass the Book project read here.
I want to do a post next Friday, November 11th based on the number eleven.
After all it will be 11-11-11! Now the 10th is the day before (really!!) and that means Ten on the Tenth so I thought maybe no one would want to participate. I've decided I'm going to do it and I'll use Mr Linky that way anyone that wants to participate can just add their link and give a link back to my blog for people to find more 11-11-11. If you are interested let me know in the comments or email me at neusebrats{at} aol{dot}com and/or just link up that day.
Your post should contain in this order...
the logo above (just copy and paste)
your favorite ELEVEN personal photos (so photos taken by you or with you in them) taken in 2011
a list of ELEVEN things you want to (need to, have to) accomplish btw now and the end of the year
ELEVEN things you've read/seen/experienced in 2011
Hopefully I won't be alone but if I am I hope you enjoy my post :)
I think it's a great idea! I don;t want to commit, yet, but I will think about it. I do want to do something special with my kids on that day - maybe a time capsule or day in pictures or both.
