Ten on the Tenth ~ Monday Musings

TEN Things on the TENTH of the TENTH month, October

Since Mondays are usually for musings I thought I'd share TEN quotes I love.

<><> <><>
“At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.” — Albert Schweitzer

Never put a period where God puts a comma.

What matters most are not the moments in your life but the life in your moments.
...

When I get out of bed in the morning I want satan to shudder and yell "Oh &*%#, she's awake!!!"

"Life has been a gift to me. I need to make a difference in the lives of other people. If I'm not doing that, I've missed the whole point of my gift of life." ~Kay Yow 1942-2009

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” -Mark Twain

"One must love a cat on its own terms."- Paul Gray

Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass on a summer day listening to the murmur of water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is hardly a waste of time. ~John Lubbock

The value of consistent prayer is not that He will hear us, but that we will hear Him. ~William McGill

Sisterhood is powerful. ~Robin Morgan

For a variety of lists of Ten Things on the Tenth got to Shimelle's blog and check out some (or all) of the links. There are some great ones this month!

thanks for your comment, you know I love Tony Bennett so I find the CD worth it... it is very much his sound. We were fortunate enough to see him a couple years ago and he still puts on a wonderful show :) You know what... Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday too.. although it is not as as big a holiday here as it is in the US - I just love that it is more of a relaxing holiday and doesn't have all the hoopla Christmas does which can be very exhausting :)
