I created a few cards this week, this one is perfect for a friend that got good results back.

inside of the card
Stamp: "Here's the Story" from the a la mode line at My Favorite Things
Papers: Bazzill, DCWV and Fancy Pants Designs
Embellishments: pearls from my stash
I staged the card very nicely but the light was just not working with me today
so I gave up on an artistic presentation.
Hopefully the Limoncello will be the second Happy Ending, we'll know Sunday night.
Here's the pic from Day 2
and this is today's progress
Looking more deeply yellow to me!!!!
Do you have any Happy Endings coming up in your life?

The card looks wonderful, great colour combinations, I'm sure the recipient will love it. And I agree, it is looking a deeper yellow.
ReplyDeleteHi Beverly ~ Why, yes, I DO love a happy ending, and I do enjoy a lemon martini myself! The lemoncello looks really yummy!
ReplyDeleteFunny that I landed on this post just after posting my my quote for the day over on my blog. We're on the same page this morning! ♥
That's one really cute stamp!
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of hoping that all the things I have going on at the moment aren't going to end any time soon :)
That striped paper is wonderful for a card. I think it's one of the nicest cards I have seen for a while - you even embellished the inside to match! It's so colourful and happy, I love the stamp and how beautifully you have coloured it, the sentiment is lovely and matted quite artistically. It's just fab, Beverly!
ReplyDeleteA lovely card....and the lemoncello looks pretty good too.
ReplyDeleteLovely, lovely card! And yes, that's definitely a deeper shade of yellow :-)
ReplyDeletePS You mentioned an email - I haven't received one I'm afraid. Which address did you use? You could try ispeakmelsh {at} hotmail {dot} com or humel {at} hotmail {dot} co {dot} uk
All looks to be progressing well on the limoncello front :-)
ReplyDeleteThe card is very cute, I love the stripey inside!
That Limoncello looks divine!! I love anything lemon flavoured but have never tried that before. Certainly didn't know you could make it at home. Maybe you could share the recipe?? Or is it a family secret, LOL :-)
ReplyDeleteI love that stamp! My friend made Limoncello and it was delish. Hope yours is too!
ReplyDeleteI love your card. I'm happy to hear about the happy endings, those are the best, aren't they.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog.
Awesome card! I love MFT stamps and dies! I have few of them - that reminds me that I need to use them more. Happy endings are great!
