Trader Joe's in the neighborhood

Trader Joe's opend closeby last weekend...even if I had been home I wouldn't have headed in that direction, can we say huge crowds?! The only other one around is 12 miles away so we have been waiting with baited breathe for this one to open. So I decided that mid morning on a Friday would be a good time to drop by .... geez people are still over all the place.  I managed to spend $40+ but came away a bit disppointed.  The store is smaller and didn't have the chewey molasses cookies, dark chocolate covered orange sticks, ready to eat wraps and burritoes that I have to buy every time I visit Joe.  Looks like I will still be making the longer trek when I need to really stock up on TJ's goodies.

  1. Isn't it funny how different TJS carry different items. I'm baking some of their pumpkin bread right now.

  3. I hate it when a chain store opens and their products vary so much - we don't have Trader Joes but I get what you mean!
